I’m going to create the eBook as per our main blog about how to optimize PDF for kindle. screen before build the book looks like this this.
I have marked the picture in the left side screen shot.
when you open the created prc file with your reading device, you will notice that picture (figure 2) is missing in the eBook. what went wrong?
open Mobipocket creator and open your project again. click on publication file menu. now your screen looks like above figure.
Click on Add File under Available Actions. it will open your project folder. now add automatically generated PNG file named “pdf with pictures_pic0001”
now your Mobipocket creator window looks like below picture.
we are almost there. now click on Build and create your eBook. transfer PRC file to your eBook reading device and cross check whether picture is there or not?
