How to watch YouTube video with VLC media player

 

Can I use VLC media player to watch YouTube videos?

you may not know. but it’s possible to watch YouTube videos with VLC media player. since VLC media player supports recording while playing the video, you can save your favorite YouTube in to local disk.   

How can I do it?

It’s simple. open VLC media player.

1. go to YouTube
2. get (copy) video URL of your video (ex http://youtu.be/AEW50fay16Y)
3. open VLC media player
4. go to media, open network stream (in VLC menu)
5. paste your video URL in open media window
6. press play button
7. It will start playing your YouTube video

 

 

Now sit back and watch your favorite YouTube videos. you can record this video by pressing VLC record button while playing the You Tube video.
